John Frieda Full Repair

When it comes to hair care I wouldnt say Im an expert.
If something makes my hair look and feel good then thats all Im really worried about. Dont get me wrong I have my favourite products that I like to use and Im pretty stuck in my ways - Ive used the same shampoo and conditioner for years - yes Ive tried other brands which Ive liked but I still seem to go running back to my old faithfuls. I even had a little daliance with Phyto recently and I couldnt really say I was that impressed ?! I think I may be the only one!
I was recently asked to try out the John Frieda Full Repair(*) range of haircare products and I jumped at the opportunity to try a brand that Ive heard of but never really got around to trying. The Full Repair range contains Inchi Oil, which is derived from the Sachi Inchi plant. The plant is rich in Omega's 3 and 6 and grows in the Amazon rainforest - It is said to hold the secret for eternal beauty - now thats something I can get on board with.

I was sent the Full Body Shampoo and Conditioner along with the Deep Conditioner and Styling Spray. Straight away I was hooked by the red packaging,  I think it makes it look more luxurious.

I decided that I would try out the shampoo and conditioner first without using any styling products on my hair. This is one of the first shampoos which I have tried where a ten pence sized blob is actually enough to get a proper lather going. The shampoo and conditioner both smell amazing and the Inchi Oil also helps to repair the look and feel of overstyled hair. Straight away I noticed my hair felt smoother - the Inchi Oil also helps to "detangle the strands of your hair" to reduce the risk of breaking and snagging. When I had dried my hair it felt really bouncy and soft which isnt really a feeling which is familiar to me unless Ive been to the hairdresser. Used on their own I was really impressed with these products, the bottles seemed to last me for ages !

Ive used the Deep Conditioner three times - once per week and love the way it makes my hair feel and smell. I also love the fact that you only need to keep it on for 2-5 mins to give yourself a deep conditioning treatment. This is a fab product which I will be replacing when it runs out.

The Styling Spray "improves manageability and creates natural movement and long lasting hold to any style". I have to admit that I dont use this everyday however it has helped me get a bit more bounce into my style, I always seem to have great hair in the morning and by the afternoon it looks like a lanky mess but this has certainly helped keep my hair in bit more of a style and it definitely feels a bit fuller.

Overall Im really impressed with Full Repair Line. I have seen a difference in the look and feel of  my hair. The only thing I would say is that there are silicones in this range which help coat, seal and smooth the hair. I have looked into this and a clarifying shampoo used once a week can help remove any product build up caused by the silicones.

Have you tried the Full Repair Range ?
