Where are my fellow beauty bloggers at ????

The fantastic Niki from Hello Miss Niki blogspot had a fab idea recently on how to connect with fellow beauty bloggers. Niki only started blogging in January and I think her blog is amazing, she's a lovely lady so if you have a moment go and check out her blog. I thought Niki's post was a fantastic idea so contacted her to ask if I could use her post on my blog to bring more of us together - this is an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow beauty bloggers so have a look at the post below which is courtesy of HelloMissNiki.

There are so many beauty bloggers out there and its so difficult to keep up with all of them!
I love keeping in touch with you all and I enjoy seeing what you all have to say and your opinions about different products and looks! I follow so many people's blogs and other forms of social media, but its difficult to keep track! In this post, I want to know where you are, and I want to be able to follow you. Some bloggers do not like when people post links within their comments, and I can understand why, but I want to dedicate this post to all of you and give you an opportunity to network. In the comments below, I want you to give me your:

Friday Night Nails Branwens Feather

Hi Lovelies
Sorry to bombard you all with blog posts this evening !
Tonight Im wearing the fantastic Butter London polish in Branwens Feather. This stunning polish is quick to dry, has an excellent consistency, and it flows easily across the nails allowing for precise application. The one thing I will say though is that I do find the brush slightly small but then I think I have big nails - ha ! At first glance this polish looks black but as it catches the light you can see that its a very deep purple/magenta hue to it with rainbow micro-glitter particles.
I achieved this finish with three coats and I have to say it does remind me slightly of Zoya's Jem only maybe a little darker - what do you guys think ? Butter London Branwen's Feather can be purchased from Butter London for £12.

Have a lovely weekend.

Lipstick Fridays Clarins Joli Rouge

Hi everyone

Today Im wearing a lipstick from the Clarins Colour Breeze Collection, Joli Rouge in Baby Pink. Clarins have an amazing range of cosmetics and I do have to confess to being a bit of a Clarins junky over the years. This lipstick is a little gritty to apply due to the shimmering particles and it is not very highly pigmented so it does take a good couple of swipes to build up the colour. I would describe this as a cool toned sheer baby pink. It definately adds just a hint of colour but makes your lips look lovely and plump and very kissable! It also contains mango butter and vitamin E which will help to help moisturise and protect your lips. Clarins Joli Rouge Baby Pink lipstick can be purchased from Escentual.com for a special price of £13.20.

Have your tried any Clarins Lipsticks ?
Whats your favourite?

Friday Night Nails Zoya Jana

Hi everyone

I am having a rather subdued Easter weekend so thought I would go for a nice subtle colour this evening. Tonight I am wearing Zoya Jana which is desribed as putty coloured nail polish with mauve and purple undertones. I love Zoya nail polish and you can achieve a perfect finish in two coats. This dried quickly and gives a beautiful shiny finish. Zoya Jana can be purchased from LaLaLondon for £9.99. I think that Zoya do a fantastic range of nail polish in beautiful colours - Ive got my eye on Marina and Adina so keep your eyes peeled for some swatches of those in the coming weeks.
What are your favourite colours at the moment ?

Lipstick Fridays Nivea Big Berry

Hi Lovelies

Its Good Friday today so I hope that you all have some time off  to enjoy yourselves and if you are anything like me - recharge your batteries. Ive been so busy over the last few weeks I hardly seem to have had any time to blog which I find rather annoying ! My little box of things to blog about seems to be getting bigger and I have a list of posts I want to share with you all too ! Hopefully over the next few weeks I will get some spare time to sit down catch up on my posts.

Anyway back to the matter at hand - today I am wearing a Nivea Colour Shine lipstick in Big Berry.
The thing that excites me most about this lipstick ?
Is the fact that it was free !

I also really love the colour of this lipstick although it is not highly pigmented it does give a wash of subtle colour and shine to your lips, I wouldnt describe it is a berry colour though, I would say it is more of a cool mauve. This is not a long lasting lipstick - I found it lasted just over an hour on my lips. It glides on smoothly but I did have to give it a couple of swipes to build up the colour you see in the swatches - it feels more like a really silky gloss on your lips and not a lipstick. This lipstick also has the added benefit of containing jojoba and avocado oil which I find is adding some much needed moisture. This weather seems to be playing havoc with my lips just now !

Things that I dont like about this lipstick - the taste and smell of it !
Ok I know that you arent supposed to eat your lipstick,  but its on your lips,  its hard not to end up tasting some of it and it does leave a bit
of an aftertaste ?! It also has that indescribable lipstick smell that conjures up memories of something your gran would have worn twenty years ago. This said though - it was free and if you would like to try it out the offer is still on here all you have to do is pop it in your basket and when you are checking out in the voucher code box type freenivealippy - you will only pay £1.99 for postage. Half Price Perfumes also have some fantastic offers on Stila makeup - check it out and you might grab yourself a little Easter bargain.

MeMeMe Goddess Rocks

Hi Lovelies

I have wanted to try MeMeMe Cosmetics for a while and because I love anything which will make me look a bit more bronzed and healthy and give me a luminous glow I decided to try Goddess Rocks. I seem to be hooked on buying blushers, bronzers and illuminators right now ! Do you ever find you go through stages like that ?

Goddess Rocks (love the name) are luxury bronzing rocks which help you give a gorgeous sun-kissed glow.

My initial thoughts were - I loved the packaging but Im bad for just chucking things into my handbag and I dont think the tub would with stand too much of that but thats no problem cos they look great on my dressing table and to be honest I should really be using a makeup bag anyway instead of just throwing things into my handbag !

They also come packed with a little sponge in the top to keep the little gold and bronze rocks from breaking up in transit.

The product itself is beautiful - little bronze and gold rocks which deliver that glow and luminoucity without it looking overly glittery looking - now I do love a bit of glitter but sometimes you are just looking for something a bit more natural.

Take your blusher/bronzer brush and swirl it around in the tub then sweep over your cheek bones and decollete to add a beautiful glow to your skin. You can also use the individual rocks as eye shadow or on your lips with your lipgloss.

You can go for a more natural glow

Or you can build up the colour

Im really impressed with the quality of this product and it will definately encourage me to try other products from the range  - they give you a gorgeous sunkissed glow, have multiple uses and would fab for the holiday season to enhance your tan. You can purchase Goddess Rocks from Me Me Me cosmetics online for £12.50.

Has anyone else tried MeMeMe Cosmetics ?
I would be interested to hear what your favourite products are.
