Benefit One Hot Minute

Now some people may think this face powder is utterly pointless, but I think it gorgeous. Of course the vintage packaging is sweet as always but I love a bit of a glow and I think there is nothing more attractive than a luminous complexion which isnt caked in make up. When applied over your face and decollete this rose-gold powder will give your skin a beautiful, radiant healthy skin and you can wear it alone to give your skin a pick me up or over your make up for a flawless finish.

Ive been enjoying using this for a few weeks now and have had loads of compliments from; you look well to your skin looks amazing and to be honest I think that speaks for itself. Now you can use the little brush which comes with it but I prefer to use my big bronzing brush, just shake some of the powder into the lid and swirl my brush around in it making sure I tap off the excess then I sweep it over my cheek bones and forehead.

Now I have been heavy handed with it here so my camera would pick up the effect but you get the idea.

Benefit Lipgloss

Benefit have recently launched six gorgeous new lip glosses to partner their fantastic powders and blushers.

I purchased Bella Bamba and Coralista before my recent cull of unused products and thought I would let you know what I thought of them. Benefit have a huge following but to be honest I can find some of their products a bit hit or miss.

First up the packaging is fantastic as you would expect from Benefit. Quirky and eye catching the packaging just makes me want to buy everything in the range !! Strange that ha ha !!

The formula of the gloss is lovely and not at all sticky which is my absolute pet peeve. They have a pleasant fruity smell which makes you want to re-apply them every two seconds !!

Bella Bamba & Coralista

As with any gloss it does need to be re-applied often and when applied to the lips I found that there was only a slight difference in the pigmentation of the colours. That being said Coralista definitely has a slightly more peachy tone to it. I would be keen to find out what the other colours were like when applied before investing in any more and would also be inclined to describe this as more of a lip shine than a gloss with noticable colour.

Benefit Hervana

This week Im loving Benefits new Hervana face powder.

In the pan it has four different shades of powder which contain gorgeous glittery shimmery pigments in them and when you brush it on your cheeks it gives them a natural just pinched glow.

The shade itself is really quite pale and I did have to build up the colour but it really gives a lovely natural finish.

To apply I use a blusher brush and swirl all the shades together then I dust the powder over the apples of my cheeks for a lovely rosy glow.
